Chiringuito "Royal Beach Pirata" Mijas, Spain.

This summer 2020 I was lucky to spend some times in Spain and one day I went for a walk along Mijas beaches.

I was very pleased when I've found this beautiful initiative from the Chiringuito "Royal Beach Pirata" that claims the right to have its beaches clean from rubbish and encourage anyone spending time in the shores not to dirt them.

They thought about smokers too and arranged coconut ashtrays which can be borrowed for the day and returned before going home.

These guys also denounce those who leave masks and pieces of garbage behind, as per the below picture.

I love this initiative and I really hope this example will be copied and paste by all the bars and restaurants that serve their guests along the beaches.

Did any of you have seen something similar somewhere else?

I am looking forward to hearing your stories.

BBC: What if everyone in the world planted a tree?

Hi guys,

What do you think if each one of us in the world would plant a tree?
Maia Film tries to answer this question with the following short documentary!

Nowadays, it is well known that trees are the key to fight climate change and despite that, we are still cutting them down at an alarming rate.

The turning point could be when each one of us plants a tree, as suggested in this video!!

Let me know your thoughts!!
